The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have named 39-year-old Jarrod Skalde as the sixth Head Coach in franchise history.

Kyle Weldon's RBI double lifted the Hamilton Joes over the Southern Ohio Copperheads in the 10th  inning Thursday night to send them to the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League championship.

It was a game decided by errors, as three crucial mistakes by the Lexington Hustlers in the fifth inning cost them four runs. But the Cincinnati Steam took a while to get going themselves, back to Western Hills after six days of no action.

The Cincinnati Steam recovered from a three-run deficit but were unable to hold off neighborhood rivals the Hamilton Joes and fell 13-5 at Western Hills High School Thursday night.
